Aviso AI provides the sales team with a comprehensive view of the Deals page. This view is configured during the initial setup as agreed by your organization. However, Aviso also allows you to create new fields and custom fields using arithmetic formulas on the CRM fields and any fields present on the Deals page to cater to your specific requirements. For example, you can use arithmetic formulas using the values (CRM fields or custom fields) or text (stages, dates, and so on) on the Deals page.
From the Admin screen, under Config Tools, click Deals Grid to open the Deals customization screen.
The Deals Customization screen appears as shown in the following image:
Add a new field on the Deals page
You can create a new field on the Deals page with a formula or without a formula. Perform these steps to add a new field on the Deals page.
- Log in to Aviso and from left hand side menu, select Admin.
- From the Admin page, under CONFIG TOOLS, click Deals Grid to open the Deals customization page.
- Click AddNewField.
The Add Field dialog box appears. - If you want to apply an arithmetic formula in the new field, select the Formula Field check box.
- In the Label field, enter the name of the new field that you want to create on the Deals screen.

If you select the Formula Field dropdown list is disabled. The Field the Label check box, the Field value is the same as the value in field. If you select the Formula Field check box, a Formula Formula field appears at the end of the dialog box.
- In the Label field, enter the name of the new field that you want to create on the Deals screen.
- If you don't want to create a Formula field and didn't select
the Formula checkbox, enter the name of the field that you want to create in the Label field. - If you want to apply deal level forecasting for the new field that you are creating, check the Dlf checkbox.
- If you want to map any field value from your CRM to this new field, in the Field, enter the exact name of the field on your CRM.
- If you want to show the new field in your Aviso mobile app, select the Show in mobile check box.
- From the Format drop-down list, select the format of data that will be present in the new field such as amount, count, ratio, percentage, and so on.
The format also decides how the field appears. For example, if you select Exceldate, the following Calendar view appears.
If you select Engagement, the engagement grade appears as follows: - If you don't want the new field to appear on the Deals screen, select the Secondary check box. The field will however appear on the Deal details page.
- From the User Role list, select the roles of the users who you want to see the new column that you are creating on the Deals page.
For example, if you want that users with some specific roles can only see the newly created field, you can select only those roles
in the UserRole list - From the Pivot list field, select the pivots (hierarchies) of the users who you want to see the new column that you are creating on the Deals page.
- If you selected the Formula checkbox in step number 3, enter your formula in Formula field.
- Click AddFormulaSource to map the existing fields on the Deals screen to use in the formula.
- Click AddFormulaSource to map the existing fields on the Deals screen to use in the formula.
- Click Ok.
- Enter a commit message in the Commit message field.
- Click Save Changes.
Wait for some time while the changes are saved and reload the Aviso URL. Go to the Deals page to see the newly created field.Note
- You can create the same Field with unique Labels in two different pivots. But creating same field with same Labels in different Pivots is not allowed.
- You can't delete any field that doesn't have a formula as it is considered a CRM field in the system.
- You may consider using the DLF field as a source for formulas as it has multiple values in it.
