In Aviso, you can set up different recording consent profiles to ensure compliance with local call recording laws and regulations for various teams. The default consent profile is automatically assigned to new team members, but you can customize and assign specific profiles depending on your team’s needs.
To Add a New Consent Profile, follow these steps:
- Log in to Aviso and from left hand side menu, select Admin.
- Under Data Capture, select Recording Consent.
- Click +Add Profile.
- Enter the Profile Name and Description.
- In the next section, provide recording consent settings:
- Consent Page: Enable or disable the consent page by turning the toggle on or off.
- To change consent page settings, select the settings icon to open a drop-down with additional options.
- Under the Compliance section, configure the following settings:

Enforce Use of Consent Page: Check the box to ensure that Aviso only records calls that include the consent page link in their invites and the user provide the required consent.
Note:
The meeting recording will only proceed if all participants provide the required consent. If even one participant declines consent, the meeting will not be recorded.
- Send Reminder Email: Check this box to send team members an email when they don’t use the consent page link and use a conferencing provider’s link instead.

- Under the Web Conferencing Provider section, choose the provider.
- Under the Link Settings, select whether to use a dynamic link.
- Click Save to finalize your new consent profile.
