Introduction
Aviso AI seamlessly integrates with Zoom to let users have virtual meetings with their buyers. Aviso AI is then able to analyze the meeting recording, transcribe it, and provide rich insights to both reps and managers that ultimately help move the conversation forward and provide managers with improvement or coaching areas for sales representatives. This document explains how to integrate Zoom with Aviso AI.
Important
The IT admins perform the procedures mentioned in this document to facilitate Zoom calls from Aviso AI, which are one-time activities. After Zoom is integrated with Aviso AI, everyone from your organization with access to Aviso AI can make audio and video calls from Aviso AI using
Zoom.
Important
After you perform the procedures mentioned in this document, collect the authorization codes from Zoom and provide them to the Aviso executive to integrate Zoom with Aviso AI.
Integrating Zoom with Aviso requires the following procedures:
- Prerequisites
- Setting up Zoom authorization
- Group settings for sales group
- Configuring Aviso AI to integrate Zoom
Prerequisites
Ensure you have a Zoom license and admin access to Zoom.
Setting up Zoom authorization
Perform these steps to set up Zoom authorization:
- Go to Zoom marketplace and log in with your admin credentials.
- Hover over the Develop button and select Build App.
A pop screen asks you to select the kind of app you want to create. - Select General App and click Create.
- You will be redirected to the Basic Information page. Go to the
Development tab.Note
The app name is assigned by default. To edit it, Select the pencil icon on the top left corner and enter the name of your choice.
- Select the User-managed radio button under the Select how the app is managed section.
- Copy the Client ID and Client secret from the App credential section to use it in the later steps.
- Scroll down to the OAuth Information section. In the OAuthRedirect URL field, enter the following URL.
https://<tenant_domain>.app.aviso.com/collaboration/reg ister/zoom
Note
If the tenant name in the aviso app is “abc_customer.com”, then the tenant domain will be "abc-customer" and the URL will be
"https://abc customer.app.aviso.com/collaboration/register/zoom".
The underscore (_) in the tenant name is replaced by a hyphen (-) in the tenant domain.
- From the left-hand side menu, click Surface. Under Select where to use your app section, Select Meetings.
- In the Domain Allow List field, enter the following URL:
<tenant_domain>.app.aviso.com
- From the left-hand side menu, click Scopes to open the Scopes screen to add the required scopes. Click +AddScopes.
- Add scopes dialog box appears and shows various scope types and available scopes for every scope type. Select the following scope type and scopes. Click Done.

Group settings for sales group
Follow these steps to set group settings for the sales group:
- Go to https://zoom.us/ and log in with your admin credentials.
- Go to My Account on the top right of the page.
- On the left menu bar, under Admin, click User Management > Groups.
- Select the respective sales group and add the required members to this group.
- Open the group and go to the Meeting tab.
- Enable Waiting room. This is an optional step.
If a Waiting room is enabled, whenever someone tries to join a meeting, until the host admits, the person cannot join the meeting. - Enable Allow participants to join before the host.
If Allow participants to join before the host is enabled, participants can join the meeting before the host joins the meeting. - Under the Recording tab, enable Cloud recording and lock this setting.
- Enable the Audio Transcription option in advanced cloud recording settings and lock this setting.
- Select the settings as shown in this image. Scroll down, enable
Automatic Recording, lock the setting, and select Record in the cloud. - Scroll down and enable the Recording disclaimer.
You can customize the consent form by clicking Customize. After you customize, lock the settings. - Scroll and enable Multiple audio notifications of recorded meetings,
and lock the setting for all the members.
Configuring Aviso AI to integrate Zoom
Provide the following information to the Aviso implementation team to integrate Zoom with your Aviso AI instance:
- Client ID
- Client Secret
- Installation URL
For security purposes, you can use a password-protected Excel sheet to share the information with the Aviso implementation team and share the password in a separate email or chat.
