Sales Methodology Improving and Driving Sales Success

Sales methodology frameworks provide structured approaches to executing deals, enabling revenue teams to follow best practices that drive consistency, efficiency, and success in the sales process. These frameworks help organizations qualify leads, identify customer needs, engage stakeholders, and align solutions to deliver value. With a variety of proven methodologies available, various DPICC, SPIN Selling, and Challenger Sale, teams can select or customize a framework that best suits their sales processes, organizational goals, and product offerings.
The admin user has full control over configuring templates for the MEDDPIC framework, ensuring they align with the organization's sales process and goals. They can customize sections, define questions, and set response types to match the specific requirements of the sales methodology.
To do so, they can follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Admin module.
- In the Customize Analysis settings, Click on Sales Methodology.
- You will be redirected to the MEDDPIC Template screen. You can select the Scorecard Template that you want to configure from the drop-down menu. You can also create a new template for your desired sales method by Clicking on Create New Sales Method.
- Once you have selected the template that you want to update you do the following:
- Configure the Sales Method Name.
- Click on +Add Category to add a new category to the template
- For each category, you can edit the category's name, and add and edit questions and responses. You can also edit the response type for the responses from numerous available response types which are text, picklist, phone, email, contact, multi- picklist, and yes/no.
Note:
If you select the Contact type response it will auto-update the same in the Org Chart. Contact type response provides the CRM contact for user selection.
- You can also configure the color scheme for score categories by adjusting the button on the score category color representation line. Once you are satisfied with the changes, Click Save.
