Navigating MEDDPIC in the Deal Module

In the Deals module, the MEDDPIC Score is crucial as it provides a systematic way to evaluate the quality and viability of each deal, ensuring that the sales pipeline is filled with opportunities most likely to close successfully. Applying the MEDDPIC criteria—such as understanding the Metrics, identifying the Economic Buyer, and assessing the Decision Process—ensures that deals are not just progressing but are strategically aligned with customer needs and organizational goals.
Pre-requisite Section
Before starting, ensure the following steps are completed:
- Template Selection
- Confirm with the client if a custom template is provided.
- If no template is provided by the client, the standard template will be used. - Impact of Template Change
- If a different template is selected, all data from the existing template will be replaced.
- Ensure that a backup of the existing data is created if required. - Weightage of Pre-requisite Questions
- The weightage assigned to each pre-requisite question is determined by the client.
- Verify the weightage values before proceeding to ensure accuracy.
You can access the MEDDPIC score at the deal level for each deal. To do so, you can follow these steps:
- Log in to Aviso. Click Deals.
- You will be redirected to the Deals page. Click on a particular deal you want to view the MEDDPIC score.
- Navigate to the MEDDPIC tab as shown in the image. Clicking on the MEDDPIC tab opens a configurable template.
Aviso's Conversational Intelligence ensures accurate and consistent MEDDPICC data collection through call transcripts and non-verbal cues, enhancing sales effectiveness.
Each question has two components:- Aviso Insights: These are automatically generated insights powered by Aviso's data science module. Aviso provides relevant insights by analyzing emails, meeting transcripts, and other communication related to the deal. This feature is configurable, allowing users to modify or add their responses, which are then stored in the CRM.
- Responses: Users can select and input responses for each section and question. The Admin can configure the response types, enabling customization for specific requirements.
Note: You can also add your notes for each particular section in the Notes section given below.
Note:
- Refresh Button: Click on the Refresh button to update the insights. This refreshes the data and displays the latest Aviso-generated insights for the deal.
- Change Template Button: You can change the template for the MEDDPIC framework. Click on Change Template and choose the one that you wish to apply. As stated in the pre-requisite section, when a template is switched the existing data in the template will be deleted.
- Depending on the sales methodology deployed by the clients, you can switch between MEDDPIC, SPIN, BANT, and many other templates.
- On the left-hand side panel you can view the Scorecard Pie Chart. The pie chart shows the progress for each section,
illustrating the proportion of questions answered.
The central score in the chart represents the cumulative contribution of each section to the overall MEDDPIC score at the deal level. - You can also view a quick overview of the MEDDPIC insights in the Deals module for each deal.
Clicking on the score opens a pop-up screen with a Scorecard a pie chart, and subsequent insights.
